TPD is thrilled to collaborate with Friends Of The Riverfront on this award-winning feasibility study. The project will focus on connecting the Hazelwood neighborhood to the Carrie Furnace Redevelopment site. The Duck Hollow segment of the Three Rivers Heritage Trail is currently isolated from both the Hazelwood neighborhood and the Carrie Furnace site. A new ADA accessible bike/ped bridge is proposed to carry the trail from Hazelwood over the CSX railroad to the riverfront trail. The bridge will establish a vital link on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, strengthening connections across the region. Highlights of the proposed pedestrian bridge: ♿ Accessible ramps (max 5% grade, bike & wheelchair friendly) 🚆 23 ft vertical clearance over the railroad 🧱 Retaining walls + freestanding structure 🪜 Direct stairway connection This project restores a historic transportation corridor lost for 100 years and creates a new link for mobility, recreation, and community growth. #CommunityConnectivity #TrailDesign #UrbanPlanning #Pittsburgh #TPD #MovingForwardTogether

Now that we have had time to reflect, and on the heels of the day of the year we are most thoughtful, we wanted to express again our gratitude for our industry connections, clients and friends! As we look back on the eventful week we spent at the New Jersey State League of Municipalities conference late November, we couldn’t have had a better time connecting with friends, old and new, and continuing to build up our communities. #MovingForwardTogether #NJLM2025 #Networking

This past Friday, we continued our 12 Ways of Giving Program by volunteering with Today is a Good Day (TIAGD) to support families with babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). Founded by Martha Sharkey, herself a NICU mom, TIAGD provides care packages, emotional and financial support, and so much more to families across the tri-state area and beyond. During Martha’s visit, we had the privilege of learning about TIAGD’s inspiring mission, weaving fabric bonding squares that will help babies and parents connect through scent and contributed a financial donation to further their impact. Especially during the season of giving, we pause to express our deepest gratitude to our clients, staff, and friends who make our journey possible. Thank you for being part of our community and for helping us move forward together. #TIAGD #12WaysOfGiving #MovingForwardTogether #Thanksgiving

On Sunday, November 16th, six members of TPD Spectrum (our LGBTQIA+ centered Employee Resource Group), joined Philly’s Love Your Park Week at Penn Treaty Park in Fishtown. Together, they rolled up their sleeves to weed the garden bed by the William Penn Statue and planted 200 bulbs that will brighten the park with blooms throughout the spring and summer! We’re proud of Spectrum’s commitment to giving back and making our communities more vibrant, inclusive, and beautiful. 💚 #TPDSpectrum #LoveYourPark #CommunityImpact #EmployeeResourceGroups #Philly #MovingForwardTogether

Last week, our team attended the APC conference in Hershey, PA - an annual tradition we look forward to every year! This year, Anthony Dougherty was recognized as part of the team from 17 organizations who helped organize the award-winning Shared Interns program! This group of honorees on stage demonstrated exceptional leadership, dedication, and valuable contribution to their regional operating committees, as well as the entire statewide program. Also, shout out to David Redd of PJ Dick - Trumbull - Lindy, who was the winner of our highly coveted Drinker's Delight raffle prize!

This November, our teams came together for one of TPD’s favorite traditions, our annual Fall Harvest Parties, affectionately known as the Spooky Turkey Party! Nestled between Halloween and Thanksgiving, this celebration brings out the best of both seasons. From festive dishes to shared laughter, we took a well-deserved break to connect, reflect, and enjoy each other’s company. Gratitude has a way of turning ordinary moments into lasting memories and we’re incredibly thankful for the time spent together and the delicious treats that made it all the more special. #Gratitude #PotLuck #MovingForwardTogether
