Tryba took part in the Denver Urban Design Spotlight event, "Reimagining Speer Boulevard," hosted by CU Denver College of Architecture and Planning. Moderated by acclaimed urban planner Peter Park, the panel explored the transformative vision for Speer Boulevard as a multimodal corridor that improves mobility, expands open space, and reactivates the Cherry Creek corridor. Our own Kathleen Dahlberg Fogler was joined on the panel by Kourtny Garrett, President & CEO, Downtown Denver Partnership and Lilly Djaniants of ZGF Architects. The event also honored the legacy of the late Ron Straka, former urban designer for the City of Denver, whose work left a lasting impact on the city's urban fabric. CAP's newly established Ron Straka Urban Design Program Fund will continue to support and inspire the next generation of urban designers.

Aurora Colorado is urbanizing. Tryba's Kathleen Dahlberg Fogler and Tommy Matthews supported director of planning Jeannine Rustad and planning supervisor Aja Tibbs with the City of Aurora to host planning professionals from across the country at a "Mobile Workshop" held in conjunction with the American Planning Association's 2025 National Planning Conference. Attendees experienced a new, diverse mix of uses built specifically to support the broad, life-saving mission of the world-class University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus; and investigated Stanley Marketplace, a nationally-recognized example of adaptive reuse that has become a neighborhood cultural anchor catalyzing an increasingly urban development pattern in an otherwise suburban context.

Tryba’s new 10-story multi-family highrise, NOVEL Uptown, has received its temporary certificate of occupancy (TCO) and is nearing completion. The full Tryba Denver team was given the opportunity to tour the project, including a look at the building’s common areas, amenity spaces and model apartment homes. A highlight of the tour was the visit to the rooftop deck amenity, with sweeping views of the Rocky Mountains, Uptown and the Denver skyline.
