Wednesday night, members of the Underscore Talent team came together for something truly special. Our team hosted a shopping event for The Salvation Army’s Angel Tree program. Angel Tree is driven by the powerful idea that every child deserves to experience the joy of Christmas morning. Each year, the program provides Christmas gifts to hundreds of thousands of children across the country. Once a child is registered and accepted as an “Angel,” their wishlist is shared with donors who purchase new clothing, toys, and essentials. Those gifts are then placed under their family’s tree. Eight Underscore Talent employees spent the evening at our local Target selecting oats, socks, toys, games, and more for 10 children in need, ages 2 to 16. It was a meaningful reminder of what this season is really about: showing up for our community, supporting families, and using our platform to make a tangible impact. Special thanks to Morgan Kline Klein who organized the event with help from Mandie Meier, and everyone from the team who donated their time and money to help make Christmas a little more magical for children in need. cc: Megan Valdez Maddie N. The Las Vegas Grand Prix wasn’t just a milestone for Formula 1, it was a defining moment for creator-led sports marketing. Underscore Talent partnered with F1, major Las Vegas hospitality groups, and global brands to power a 360° creator amplification model across the entire weekend. From culinary talent hosting at the Bellagio Fountain Club to creators driving cross-platform storytelling for Red Bull, Guess, Evian, and more, this year proved one thing: Creators aren’t guests at major tentpoles anymore. They’re the engine behind discovery, cultural influence, and real-time audience engagement. We had an incredible weekend at the Formula 1 Las Vegas Grand Prix, where Underscore clients from across verticals came together for a series of standout experiences, from culinary activations to behind-the-scenes access at the track. Events like this highlight the growing intersection of sports, entertainment, and creator-led storytelling. Grateful to our partners and clients who made the weekend a success. Looking forward to more moments like this as we continue building opportunities at the intersection of culture and creators. 🏁 #Formula1 #LasVegasGP #CreatorEconomy #InfluencerMarketing

In Today’s Comedy Landscape, Stage Presence Isn’t Enough, You Need Social Presence. Coming out of the New York Comedy Festival, one truth stood out: For comedians trying to break into the industry, a strong social presence has become non-negotiable. What was once a path paved through late-night sets, comedy clubs, and SNL auditions is now being reshaped by creators who lead with audience connection before stepping on stage. Take Mackenzie Barmen and Chaz May, who nearly sold out a theater with a live performance born from digital roots. Their success sparked interest from traditional theater producers, proof that the industry is watching where the audience already is. We also saw digital-first comedians packing venues like Gramercy Theater. These aren’t exceptions, they’re signals. Here’s the shift media, creators and brands should be tracking: • Comedians without a digital footprint are facing an uphill climb • Creator-comedians are fast-tracking momentum by developing their voice, refining material, and building loyalty online first • That audience becomes proof of concept for live formats, tours, stage shows, and even theatrical productions. The gatekeeping has changed. Stage talent still matters but today, the screen is the new stage that opens the door to the traditional one. At Underscore Talent, we're proud to support comedic talent who are navigating this evolution and helping emerging voices build audiences that convert into opportunity, both online and IRL. The future of comedy isn’t replacing tradition, it’s accelerating it through visibility. This weekend, the Underscore Talent team hosted Creative Artists Agency for a friendly pickleball match on the rooftop courts at the Montrose Hotel, and despite the forecast, we somehow escaped the rain! Representing Underscore were some of our incredible coordinators: Sebastian Lawson, Grace Schmidt, (both from Shorthand Studios), as well as Maddie N., Chaisten France, Cody Fujimoto, CPA, Lauren Brantley, and event planner extraordinaire Matthew Wesztergom. CAA showed up strong, though we’re still waiting for United Talent Agency and WME | William Morris Endeavor to accept our challenge. 👀🏓 After the match, we kept the good vibes going with lunch at State Social House. We also used the day to give back, donating canned goods to Project Angel Food, an incredible organization that nourishes the health and spirit of people facing life-threatening illness through medically tailored meals made and delivered with dignity and care. Great partners, decent weather (somehow), and a great cause. We’re already looking forward to the rematch.

Elyse Myers sold out 10 stops on her debut book tour, most in under 48 hours. These aren’t small bookstore signings; they’re largely held in theatre venues across the country, with capacities reaching up to 1,200 seats. Each event is a full-scale, live experience celebrating her first book, New York Times Bestseller That’s a Great Question, I’d Love to Tell You. It’s a feat most authors dream of and a signal of something bigger: a shift in how creators are transforming digital fandoms into real-world communities. Had an incredible time speaking on today’s panel at the Brand Safety Summit Series — huge thank you to Snap Inc. and my fellow panelists for having me. We had a great discussion on the state of the creator economy and how it’s become more sophisticated than ever, with creators now sitting at the center of brand strategy rather than on the sidelines. Key topics we covered included: ⭐️ How audiences have evolved and demand more authentic content ⭐️ The professionalization of the creator space ⭐️ The growing importance of brand safety, ensuring brands partner with creators whose values and authenticity align with their own At the end of the day, the most effective creator collaborations come from relationships built on trust, transparency, and shared purpose. When brands lead with authenticity, the results speak for themselves: stronger engagement, higher ROI, and lasting impact. The space has never been more mature or more exciting. The creator economy is thriving and shaping the future of marketing. A special shoutout to Phaith Montoya who shared amazing insight from a creator perspective.
