Veoneer’s Romanian Team Observes National Day – A Celebration of Unity and Heritage Today, on December 1, Veoneer’s team in Romania joined their fellow countrypeople to celebrate National Day. This date marks the Great Union of 1918, when Transylvania, Banat, Crișana, and Maramureș joined the Kingdom of Romania —fulfilling a century-old dream of unity. Across the country, the day is honored with military parades, cultural performances, and community gatherings. Traditional dishes and folk music bring families together, while the Romanian flag’s colors— red, yellow, and blue —decorate streets and homes. Please join us in wishing our Romanian team members a happy National Day! 

Team Spotlight: Veoneer Romania Supports Local Tree Planting Event Last weekend, the Veoneer team at our facility in Timisoara, Romania, took part in a meaningful environmental initiative in the city, where 3,000 oak, red oak and acacia saplings were planted to strengthen the city’s protective green belt. Our colleagues showed incredible dedication and teamwork during this initiative, proving once again that sustainability is a core value for us. “I’m grateful that I had the chance to organize this tree-planting event for the second year in a row,” said Marius Moatăr, IT Systems engineer. “This is a clear reflection of the strong, engaged community we have, which is one that genuinely cares about sustainability and about shaping a greener future. “I’m proud to be part of a team that turns intention into action.”

Veofest 2025: Smart Engineering for Safer Roads in AI Veoneer’s team in India recently held Veofest 2025: a vibrant celebration of innovation, culture, and collaboration. This year’s theme, “Smart Engineering for Safer Roads,” showcased Veoneer’s commitment to leveraging advanced engineering and AI to make mobility safer and smarter. The event featured creative exhibits, technical talks, collaborative workshops, and supplier demos, highlighting how technology and teamwork can transform road safety and shape a better tomorrow. Attendees also heard from guest speakers: - Punith Rathore from the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) talked about data-driven driving behavior analytics – and how to make the roads safer for us all. - Dr. Pradeep Desai from Thalesat Innovations Pvt. Ltd. presented how to bridge the worlds of medical electronics and automotive safety electronics, highlighting cross-functional use and knowledge acquisition. - Veoneer’s own Frederic Trouve, vice president, Engineering Excellence; and Kelly Floria, regional CHRO, Americas, and Global HR business partner, RD&E, both spoke about their careers and how our products could improve road safety in the future. A big thank you to everyone who made this event a success—your passion and collaboration were truly inspiring!

Veoneer Lab Celebrates 20 Years At the beginning of October, the Veoneer lab at Cergy marked its 20th anniversary! In celebration, on Saturday, October 4, the facility opened its doors to team members and their families, customers, and former employees who all played a part in its growth and success. It was a wonderful opportunity to acknowledge this milestone in a warm and festive atmosphere. In small groups, guests toured the facilities; discovered more about Veoneer’s products and job roles; and, most importantly, learned how we test and validate our systems. From our six Faraday cages to our climatic testing equipment, everyone could appreciate the technical expertise that sets us apart from the competition. Thanks to the dedication of our teams, our laboratory now holds most CEM/ELEC/ENV accreditations. What truly stood out, however, was how our colleagues shared their expertise and knowledge with passion and clarity; the enthusiastic feedback from visitors was the best reward! We would also like to offer a huge thank you to our volunteers that helped organize this special day. The energy and commitment you brought made this event a true collective success—just like what we build together every day.

Team Spotlight: Veoneer France Celebrates “Pink October” As part of their commitment to promoting breast cancer awareness, Veoneer France participated in Pink October activities at both the FRM and FCT facilities. At FRM, several athletes participated in a charity run, the 'Seine Rose,' on Sunday, October 19. Participants ran either 12 or 6 kilometers, or walked 6 kilometers, along the banks of the Seine in Rouen. The event raised money for The League Against Cancer; Veoneer contributed by covering the registration fees for its employees. Meanwhile, at FCT, team members set up a mood board where everyone could share words of encouragement and other positive thoughts to those affected by the disease. We also encouraged everyone to wear pink in solidarity with their colleagues, friends, and neighbors.

Team Spotlight: Veoneer Bangalore The Veoneer Bangalore team came together to celebrate Dasara, the festival of good over evil, with colors, music, and Dandiya moves! The celebration was all about togetherness, tradition, and team spirit — bringing smiles, energy, and festive cheer to the workplace. Dasara, also known as Vijayadashami, took place from September 22 through October 2 and is the state festival in the state of Karnataka in India. It is a significant Hindu festival that symbolizes the victory of the Goddess Durga over the buffalo demon Mahishasura and Lord Rama’s triumph over Ravana.
