We are proud to announce the completion of the Jimmy H. Baker Center for the Arts at Enterprise State Community College, a 50,000-square-foot state-of-the-art facility designed to foster performance, creativity, and community engagement in the Wiregrass region. Named in honor of Chancellor Jimmy H. Baker, the center features a 600-seat auditorium with professional-grade theatrical lighting, sound, and rigging systems, as well as a two-story academic wing with modern classrooms and instructional spaces. We are grateful to the Alabama Community College System and Enterprise State Community College for trusting White-Spunner Construction as Construction Manager. “White-Spunner Construction is thankful that we are able to assist the Community College System navigate this project,” said Jeff Carrico, President and Chief Operations Officer. We are also proud of our team — Project Executive Justin Thorpe, Assistant Superintendent Billy Lowe, and Project Coordinator Mary Landrum — for their leadership and dedication to delivering this transformative project. The Jimmy H. Baker Center stands as a place where artistry meets opportunity, inspiring students, artists, and audiences for generations to come. 🔗: https://lnkd.in/dswAniqC

Our team had a great time at the Downtown Mobile Alliance Annual Luncheon! We enjoyed hearing from local author Cam Marston on the topic of generational differences in the workplace — especially fitting since our group represented every generation currently in the workforce. It was also a pleasure catching up with friends and community leaders, including City of Mobile, AL Mayor-Elect Spiro Cheriogotis, pictured here with our Senior Project Manager, Scott Rowe. We’re proud to be part of the momentum driving Downtown Mobile’s growth and success, and inspired by the collaboration that continues to move our city forward.
