📣 We’re looking for a mission-driven Founding Software Engineer to join Lexi and build the future of healthcare communication! Language should never determine the quality of your care, yet for 30 million patients in the U.S., it still does. We’re an early-stage, Harvard-backed startup building the multilingual communication layer for healthcare with AI-native, real-time medical interpretation so clinicians and patients can communicate clearly across languages. We’re looking for a 🚀 Founding Software Engineer 🚀 to help architect the core systems. You’ll work across backend services, cloud infrastructure, real-time audio and streaming, and clinician- and patient-facing tools, all while collaborating closely with our ML team to productionize multilingual AI models. If you want your work to have immediate real-world impact, this role will feel meaningful from day one. Excited about building deeply technical systems that directly improve how patients experience care? Send us a message or apply through the link below, we’d love to connect! https://lnkd.in/eN_qhwdY

Our annual membership retreat is always an opportunity to bring health center leaders together to consider how we can best promote community health in Massachusetts. This year we gathered in Worcester to put "the future in focus" by discussing innovation, strategy, and action. We were thrilled to have Mayor Joe Petty, a longtime ally of the health center movement, kick off our retreat with some welcome remarks, followed by Mass League Board Chair Karen Gardner and Dr. Cheryl Clark, Executive Director of the Institute for Health Equity Research, Evaluation & Policy. Undersecretary for MassHealth, Michael Levine delivered the keynote address which set the tone for most of the day. Our retreat was filled with interactive panels and sessions aimed at helping leaders prepare for all kinds of uncertainties and scenarios that can come up for health centers. We were treated to a dynamic and engaging roundtable on federal health care policy led by Joe Dunn and Stephanie Krenrich, an engaging conversation on media strategy and crisis communications by Diana C. Pisciotta and Leandro Ruiz of Denterlein, and a forward looking presentation on AI adoption from Susan Adams, PMP, Linda Naval, MPA, and Padmaja Sastry. As always, we are grateful for the incredible turnout and response to this year's retreat and we look forward to seeing everyone next year!

Meet Lexi, Linh Pham, and Siddharth UR. A remarkable company, brilliant co-founders, and an inspiring vision. Ainsley Advisory Group is extremely proud to work with the Lexi team and share their story in our newsletter. Lexi is on a mission to use AI to address a fundamental yet often-overlooked aspect of healthcare: language access. Language barriers contribute to worse clinical outcomes, higher healthcare utilization, reduced health literacy, lower treatment adherence, and the erosion of patient trust, empowerment, and care experiences. Bring in Lexi: patient-centered and culturally nuanced innovation that is transforming healthcare translation. Lexi’s sophisticated AI-powered voice-to-voice medical interpretation tool is fine-tuned for medical accuracy and cultural sensitivity. It’s trained on clinical terminology and high-need, under-resourced languages like Haitian Creole. Built with Sid and Linh’s design engineering expertise and a powerhouse multidisciplinary Harvard University team, they have won both the Peter M. Sacerdote Grand Prize at the Harvard Business School New Venture Competition and the Gold iF Design Award, one of the world’s top honors in innovation. Most importantly, Lexi’s technology is focused on equity, access, and cultural representation. As Linh and Sid recently shared with the FXB Center for Health and Human Rights at Harvard University: “Language barriers are one of the most overlooked drivers of health inequity. We started Lexi because we have seen how language failures harm people we love. We are building a platform that works for communities, with communities, and keeps accessibility at the heart of every decision we make.” (Full Q&A: https://lnkd.in/eCXA2ZSD)
