What To Expect (Job Responsibilities)

• Provide clinical expertise to ensure high-quality, efficient patient care
• Assist physicians in preparing for minor surgeries and physicals
• Answer telephone calls and screen for referrals
• Work from home in a triage role
• Collaborate with team members to support patient care initiatives
  
  

What Is Required (Qualifications)

• Graduation from an accredited Medical Assisting program or twelve months of direct clinical patient care experience
• Candidates without Medical Assistant Certification must obtain it within one year of hire
• Recent graduates must obtain clinical MA certification within 60 days of employment
• Active and unrevoked RMA, CCMA, CMA, NCMA, or NCRMA certification preferred
• Cardiology experience is preferred
  
  

How To Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)

• One year of medical work experience in a healthcare setting
• Experience with eCW software is a plus
