Challenge: Docking the Layer Properties Manager and setting the auto-hide property

(upbeat music) - [Instructor] We are staying in our interface.dwg file, and we're going to be taking a look at a little challenge in your AutoCAD interface. Now, in this particular video, what I've done is I've set everything up as if you've already completed the challenge I'm going to set for you. Now, the reason I want to show you this one is it's incredibly useful and it saves a bit of screen real estate when you need to have pallets or dialogue boxes open permanently. Now, dialogue boxes, you can't dock or keep open, but pallets you can. Now, in this particular video, you will see on the left hand side of the screen that the layer properties manager is docked, and the autohide is switched on. If I hover over the title bar, can you see that Layer Properties manager appears like so, and then when I move back away from it, it'll disappear back into the title bar because it's docked with autohide switched on. So if I hover over it, there it is there. I can go and work with my layers…
