As we close out #WorldStrokeDay – we think of all the patients and their families who have been impacted by #stroke. Gerardo is a healthy, active 26-year-old who never expected to face a stroke. While playing video games with his brother, Gerardo suddenly couldn’t speak. Quick recognition of the signs of stroke and swift action made all the difference. His physician, Dr. Nikhil Mehta, said, "When Gerardo presented, we used the Zoom Stroke System primarily because of its efficiency. Gerardo responded incredibly well to the treatment. He had one of the best outcomes we could hope for.
