Thomas Costabile’s Post

I recently visited Brazil and met with leaders who are helping shape the future of engineering across Latin America. The discussions highlighted our profession’s essential role in climate action, the energy transition, and emerging technologies like AI. During the trip, ASME (The American Society of Mechanical Engineers) strengthened regional partnerships, contributed to global conversations, and supported professional development through targeted training. The visit reinforced how important our connections are in expanding collaboration worldwide. I look forward to continuing this momentum across Latin America. Tom That is excellent news. I think Brazil would be a strong partner for ASME moving forward and could pave the way for ASME to have a strong presence in South America.

Exciting news Thomas Costabile! I think the next translation of “Engineer Someday!” might have to be Portuguese!

Hey Tom, thats great to hear. I've had wonderful interactions with Brazil. We should compare notes.
