AI is breaking out of traditional spaces and moving closer to where data is actually created. Learn how much further AI can take us — both in our daily work and in how we stay connected in the latest Tech Pulse newsletter. ⬇️
Great insights. The growth of AI at the edge is impossible to ignore, especially as more enterprise data is created outside the cloud. These trends open the door for a whole new class of low power, on device supports that complements larger AI systems. Important direction setting from Cisco.
As a network engineer, I see how Cisco’s AI doesn’t just enhance performance...it turns the network into a “predictive brain,” reducing outages and securing data automatically. This directly solves today’s biggest challenge: handling massive amounts of data and analyzing it in real time without added complexity.
Using AI to simplify complex tasks for network and security operators is a direct path to reducing human error, which remains a top cause of incidents. If done well, this can significantly improve operational security postures.
Applying AI to streamline complex tasks for network and security operators is an effective way to reduce human error — still one of the leading causes of incidents. When executed properly, this approach can significantly strengthen operational security posture.
Interesting article! I would like to see organizations like Cisco, IBM, and others work with companies interested in acquiring--adopting AI in their workplaces. Working with organizations interested in AI, Quantum Computing, and workplace innovations should entail understanding organizations' purpose--intent for emerging technologies; what problem(s) are they attempting solve or innovation to create. In addition to understanding use of emerging technologies, a readiness assessment should be conducted for organizations.
This is the beginning of AI slowly penetrating deeper into the infrastructure. Using intelligence greatly reduces human error, but there are still challenges...
Exciting to see how Cisco is leading the AI transformation by bringing innovation directly to where data is created and driving smarter, more secure, and seamless collaboration. The integration of AI-powered platforms like Cisco IQ and the focus on AI readiness, security, and sustainability truly showcase Cisco’s commitment to shaping the future of work and technology. Looking forward to seeing how these advancements empower partners and customers to work smarter and more securely in the AI era!!
The implementation of Edge AI is crucial for IoT (Internet of Things) devices and industries that require real-time decisions.
Wild to see how fast AI is moving to the edge. Feels like we’re giving superpowers to the places where data is actually born.
Looking forward to it … Really exciting work. Here is where I think this is heading next based on everything emerging right now: 1. Photonic compute as the new floor Light-based processing removes the classical electron bottleneck and gives us the throughput needed for large-scale distributed intelligence. The limit stops being clock speed and becomes how creative we can be with the architecture. …. Part two cont. also #opentowork
