Recently, Governor Jared Polis and OEDIT’s Executive Director Eve Lieberman celebrated the opening of the CoorsTek, Inc. Academy expansion. This facility will train over 1,000 people for careers in advanced manufacturing, helping to build a skilled workforce for the future, thanks to the Opportunity Now grant support. Opportunity Now Colorado, a groundbreaking grant program, has been making waves by injecting innovation into the fields of advanced industries, education, healthcare, and infrastructure. Opportunity Now funding supports partnerships between industry and education and training providers to ensure training is relevant, matches industry needs and prepares Coloradans for good-paying jobs.
