The federal government shutdown continues with no end in sight, even as SNAP programs are running out of funding, crucial ECE grants are frozen, and more than 100 November Head Start grantees are at risk of closing their doors to thousands of children. In other news, the Administration for Children and Families offered updated guidance on the priorities and principles that will guide their funding decisions.
