Opportunities are everywhere—if we’re open to them. I’m not just talking about financial opportunities. Some of the most meaningful ones in my life have come through relationships, service, and being willing to say yes when a need presents itself. Over the years, opening my heart and mind to service created unexpected paths—like the chance to work with Glocal (in Idaho) and International Rescue Committee serving refugee families and communities. Those experiences changed me. And just recently, another opportunity appeared. We were talking about ways to give back, and suddenly a door opened to assemble homeless care kits for people in our local community. I’m grateful for partners who step up: 🧦 Bombas, whose generous giving model allowed us to access hundreds of pairs of socks. 🚐 i-Tech Security and Network Solutions who wanted to make an impact and funded the remaining materials—then committed to delivering these kits across the Carolinas with an amazing team of technicians. Service isn’t something we do once. It’s something that finds us when we’re willing to look, listen, and act. Opportunities multiply when we’re open.
