Through. This was these were mostly Jalisco guys with the TCS from Legacy Traffic management. Holistic International had been widening the Dartmouth Ave. bridge over the S Platte River. This project required that Elisco divert the S Platte River in order to access the work. This diversion included an open diversion channel which resulted in increased flow velocities in the river. In July 2024, three children were playing along the West. State of the river upstream of the project. There were two boys, ages 10 and four, and a girl, age 7 to 10. Year old boy entered the water to retrieve a sneaker and was immediately swept away by the swift current. His brother and sister followed him into the water and were also swept up by the rushing water. Our crew heard the children screaming. Leland, the TCS for Legacy, immediately entered the water and rescued the youngest girl. Tim De Gilberto, Jose and Martin teamed up to rescue the two boys. All three children were pulled from the water unharmed and were immediately returned home safely to their mother. Let's give those folks a huge round of applause.
