Our AI glasses are built with cutting-edge, wearable technology that helps people with disabilities navigate their daily lives. ➡️ Learn how advanced wearable technology to empower people with disabilities: https://lnkd.in/gZ7FBSci  #TechForGood #Accessibility #Inclusion #AI

  • How AI Glasses Are Empowering People With Disabilities

Technology becomes truly 'inclusive' only when it becomes invisible and infinite. Until we solve the constraint of 'Limited Runway (Battery Life)', these glasses remain a demo, not a daily companion for those who need them most. Rooting for the day when hardware catches up with this noble vision.

True inclusion emerges not only when technology assists, but when it becomes a natural extension of the person. What you’re doing here goes beyond accessibility — it marks the beginning of an ecosystem in which AI amplifies human autonomy, presence, and agency. The next leap, in my view, is exploring how these tools can evolve from assistive to genuinely co-creative — where humans and systems collaborate to generate new ways of perceiving and navigating the world. There is a path toward that evolution, and I’d be glad to share a perspective when the time is right.

Strong use of applied AI, accessibility improves fastest when the tech stays practical. It also raises a broader question: is this the direction platforms should focus on, instead of feeding algorithms that often reduce clarity for users?

💎It’s inspiring to see how Meta uses wearable AI to empower people’s daily lives. When technology becomes more intuitive — more emotional — it opens entirely new dimensions of human experience. This is exactly the future we’re all building toward. ❤️ #AI #TechForGood #Accessibility #FutureOfExperience #Meta

Love seeing technology used in ways that truly uplift people. At Elevate Côte d’Ivoire, we believe innovations like this show how thoughtful design can open doors, empower independence, and create a more inclusive world for everyone. Keep sharing solutions that make a real difference.

Accessibility is often treated as an add-on, but solutions like this prove it can be a driver of true innovation.

Meta Ray-Ban glasses are transforming independence for people with disabilities through hands-free calls, speech translation, and volunteer support via Be My Eyes. It’s inspiring to see tech making accessibility practical and seamless 🙌.

Integrating wearable data with external sources, like public transport APIs or venue information, could significantly enhance navigation and planning for users. My work focuses on extracting and unifying such disparate data into clear dashboards. How are you approaching the challenge of making the AI's environmental data actionable and contextual for the user?

This kind of assistive technology can genuinely expand independence for many people. It shows how thoughtful design can turn innovation into practical support.
