We’re cookin’ something for you 🎬 Just for one day, the Matt Talks Hospitality podcast packed up the usual online routine and went to record onsite in Amsterdam 🎤 Five guests, one packed schedule and lots of good stories shared across the table 🙌 We brought together some brilliant people shaping hospitality right now, here’s what they talked about with Matthijs: • Floris Licht, Founder and CEO of Hotels for Trees, on the next chapter of responsible housekeeping and sustainability. • Suzanne Oxenaar, Co-founder, Curator and Artistic Director at SWEETS hotel, on turning the strangest spaces (such as Amsterdam’s bridge-keeper houses) into hotel rooms. • Charlie MacGregor, Founder and CEO of The Social Hub, on profit versus purpose in hospitality and what it takes to keep both alive as a company scales. • Guido Lips, Head of Guest Experience and Culture at The July, on raising the bar for guest experience and creating places where guests feel like they belong. • Robert-Jan WOLTERING, Managing Director of Hotel De L’Europe, on being a landmark hotel and what it takes to be awarded three MICHELIN Keys. All five conversations will drop next year, stay tuned! 🎧 📷 Photos by popuppodcast.studio and Mews 🩷

What a phenomenal lineup! Mews always curates the best blend of innovation and leadership. This special Amsterdam session perfectly covers the industry’s most critical strategic pillars: purposeful scaling (Charlie MacGregor), regenerative sustainability (Floris Licht), and extreme experiential design (Suzanne Oxenaar / SWEETS hotel). My strategic question is aimed at the intersection of these themes and Mews’ core business: What is the single biggest technological integration challenge the modern PMS must solve to allow hoteliers to scale both purpose (tracking Trees for Trees metrics) and hyper-personalized experience (like those at Hotel De L’Europe or The July) without adding layers of operational complexity? Looking forward to these drops next year! 🎙️

It was lovely being there and having a talk with Matthijs Welle. I very much look forward to hearing the result!

Nice podcast studio at Mr.Green Offices Amsterdam Centraal - thanks for choosing us as your office, Mews!

Looking forward to hearing from these voices!
