We embraced the “curve effect” in our work for the Diamond Institute in Beverly Hills, where Dr. Jason Diamond wanted a space that felt elevated, luxurious, and—most importantly—soothing. Studies show that people instinctively prefer curves. They convey warmth, softness, and safety—qualities that help reduce stress and promote calm. For a medical setting, this emotional impact is everything.
