The University of Houston Downtown Gator Expansion is a multi-phase initiative aimed at transforming the One Main, Academic, and Girard Street Welcome Center Buildings to enhance learning, student life, and overall success. Phase one was recently completed, relocating the Testing Center from the third floor of Girard Street Welcome Center and the Academic Support Center from the ninth floor of One Main to its fifth floor. This prepares Girard's third floor for future transformation into a centralized hub for Career Services along with Health, Disability, and Counseling Services.
