We are delighted to announce that our Founder, Chairman and CEO, Emilie Bodoin, is a finalist for ‘Chief Trailblazer of the Year’ at the Platts Global Energy Awards 2025! This nomination is a recognition of Emilie Bodoin’s leadership in developing Pure Lithium’s breakthrough lithium metal battery technology and building a company to bring it to market. Emilie has secured key partnerships and investors such as Oxy Low Carbon Ventures and Robert Friedland’s Ivanhoe Capital Corp., and led Pure Lithium to Chicago, where we are building our pilot facility to begin prototyping and scaling our technology. Emilie is a prolific inventor, and her now-granted patents were foundational for Pure Lithium, which holds over 128 patents and patent applications, including a joint application with Nobel Laureate Prof. M. Stanley Whittingham. This year, Emilie was recognized at the Fastmarkets Voltas Awards as Trailblazing Woman of the Year, as well as at the Reuters 2025 Global Energy Awards for Innovator in Energy.
