His vision for modernizing budgeting and forecasting aligns with Centage's mission to help organizations move beyond the limitations of Excel-based financial planning.
Delighted to announce that as of this morning I will be formally stepping into the role of CEO of Centage.com. The Fintech/ FP&A space is a SaaS area close to my heart and one that I’m extremely excited to get back into. Centage.com is an unbelievable company, 23 years old this year it has been at the forefront of centralized budgeting, forecasting and performance management for almost a quarter of a century. Starting off on premise and moving to the cloud in 2019 it services in excess of 500 customers ranging from industries as diverse as healthcare to travel and tourism. Although theres a lot to be excited about, what I look forward to most is driving innovation and disruption in this space. Microsoft Excel will be 40 years old this September, although without doubt, one of the greatest business softwares in history- it is my firm belief that as a budget & forecasting tool it has thoroughly run its course. At Centage.com we aim to offer those still stuck in the chaotic world of excel & excel plugins, a viable enterprise offering emulating excels familiar ease of use but where collaboration, version control and security take centre stage. From the Model T to the Kodak film camera products have emerged, dominated and ultimately been replaced by alternatives that have built on their brilliance and disrupted their market leadership, Centage has the potential to do just this.
