Big milestone for our team — and for the future of Charlotte’s Mill District. Last Friday, along with our partners at Swinerton, we celebrated the topping-out of Cordo — a seven-story community designed to bring walkable, urban living to the heart of the Optimist Park neighborhood. Cordo features 287 apartments and 1,200 SF of retail space, incorporating hybrid mass-timber construction to improve efficiency and reduce embodied carbon. Located beside Cordelia Park (the inspiration for the name "Cordo") and the LYNX Blue Line, Cordo will connect residents to everything they need — including bundled access to EVs, e-bikes, and scooters.
