Fresh off Climate Week NYC 2025, we had the opportunity to share – and celebrate – our sustainability progress to date with our teams. 🌱 Check out some of the highlights: 1️⃣ Commitment in Action → at Tapestry’s ‘Spotlight on Sustainability’ event, we heard from Peter Charles, Logan T Duran, Julia Furnari, Taryn Bird, and Kim Matsoukas (she/her) on achievements by the numbers since launching our corporate responsibility program in 2019. 2️⃣ Strategic Partnerships → we continue to drive industry-wide change through meaningful collaboration. Earlier this year, Tapestry became one of the first brands to make a financial commitment to the WWF’s Deforestation-Free Leather Fund to combat deforestation in Brazil's leather supply chain (in addition to the Tapestry Foundation’s $3 million philanthropic grant to WWF in 2022). We also expanded our investment in GenPhoenix for recycled leather fiber material that has at least an 80% lower carbon footprint compared to the global average of conventional leather. 3️⃣ Circular Innovation → Coachtopia also joined the Climate Week conversation by celebrating its progress since launching in 2023 and highlighting products from its Alter/Ego collection to show how "the waste of one iconic bag becomes the raw material for another." What’s next? 👀 Keep an eye out for our FY25 report, launching later this year. Thanks to all our teams for bringing this important work to life. #OurTapestry #ClimateWeek2025 #StretchWhatsPossible

🌍 Celebrating Earth Day: Our Commitment to a Greener Future Earth Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it's a critical moment to reflect on our impact and renew our commitment to environmental stewardship. It's a reminder that every day is an opportunity to build a more sustainable future. This year, we're not just planting a tree (though we definitely did that!). We're focusing on actionable, long-term initiatives that integrate sustainability directly into our operations and culture: 🌱 Our Core Commitments Circular Economy Integration: We are intensifying our efforts to design waste out of our processes. This involves expanding our use of recycled materials in production by 25% this quarter and launching a product take-back program to ensure materials stay in use and out of landfills. Decarbonizing Operations: Our immediate goal is to reduce our corporate carbon footprint. We have committed to sourcing 80% of our power from renewable energy within the next two years and are optimizing our supply chain logistics to reduce transportation emissions. Empowering Our Workforce: Sustainability starts with awareness. We are rolling out a new mandatory 'Green Skills' training program for all employees to foster a culture where environmental responsibility is part of every decision, from the breakroom to the boardroom. 🤝 Community and Collaboration We recognize that a greener future is a collective effort. This Earth Day, we are proud to launch a new partnership with a local non-profit to sponsor urban gardening initiatives, providing our community with access to fresh produce and educational workshops on sustainable agriculture. We believe that transparency is essential. We will be publishing our first detailed progress report on our ESG goals next quarter. We encourage our partners, customers, and community to hold us accountable. As we look ahead, we know the path won't be easy, but it is necessary. Our commitment to sustainability isn't a trend; it's the foundation of our long-term resilience and value. What is the single most impactful sustainability change you've made in your professional life this year? Share it below we're looking for inspiration! #EarthDay #Sustainability #ESG #GreenFuture #CorporateResponsibility #NetZero #CircularEconomy

I am still reflecting over The Economist Sustainability Week Europe and some of the topics presented: I attended a compelling presentation by Wouter Vermeulen, Vice President, Public Policy & Sustainability at Coca-Cola in Europe. He reported over the Ripples of Change initiative: the company wants to give every drop of water they use back to nature. And it went beyond talk as they have delivered a project at the Danube River (https://lnkd.in/dyayzq4k). This initiative goes beyond traditional CSR as it gathered private companies, cities and regions, and NGOs to make impact real: a powerful blend of environmental awareness, community engagement, and supply chain foresight. By spotlighting the Danube — a vital waterway for ecosystems, communities, and commerce — this project remind us of the dependencies that global businesses have on natural systems. 💬 As Wouter Vermeulen emphasized, water is not just a resource — it’s a strategic asset. Restoring rivers like the Danube helps build resilience for people, nature, and economies. It’s a reminder that sustainability is not a side project, but a core business imperative. 💡 Value Proposition: Projects like this help companies understand and communicate the risks posed by environmental degradation — especially to supply chains that rely on stable ecosystems. 🧭 A New Shift? Could this be the beginning of a broader shift? Are we seeing companies move from reactive sustainability to proactive storytelling and risk mapping — the shift beyond ESG in on! Would love to hear your thoughts. Are we entering a new era where environmental storytelling becomes a strategic tool for supply chain resilience? #ShiftBeyondESG #SupplyChain #CorporateResponsibility #RipplesOfChange #Danube #Impact #CocaCola #WouterVermeulen

Sustainable land use isn't just about protecting the environment—it's about honoring generations of Indigenous wisdom. Indigenous communities have long stewarded their lands with practices that balance nature and nurture. These methods, rooted in deep cultural ties and understanding, offer time-tested solutions to today's environmental challenges. At Land Rights Defenders Inc, we see these practices as essential to building a just and sustainable future. When Indigenous land rights are secured, communities can protect biodiversity, maintain food security, and preserve cultural heritage. Consider how traditional agroforestry systems improve soil health and biodiversity, or how controlled burns prevent devastating wildfires. These are not relics of the past—they are powerful tools for tomorrow. For advocates, donors, and partners, supporting Indigenous-led land stewardship is more than charity—it's a commitment to real, lasting change. By amplifying Indigenous voices and securing legal protections, we empower communities to safeguard their lands and our shared planet. How can we better include Indigenous knowledge in global sustainability efforts? The answer lies in partnership, respect, and action—starting now.

I'm very excited to share the news of IKEA and BTG Pactual Timberland Investment Group's new partnership to restore critical habitats in the Brazilian Atlantic Forest. Together, we will conduct forest restoration across 4,000 hectares. Nearly half of the established area will be dedicated to protecting/restoring critically endangered Atlantic Forest habitat. The other half will support sustainably managed commercial forests. This model does more than store carbon. It protects biodiversity, supports jobs, and strengthens local ecosystems. All backed by independent verification. The approach shows how leaders across the corporate and financial landscape can collaborate to drive positive action for the planet and people.
