WaveForms AI’s Post

Today we are thrilled to introduce WaveForms AI, an Audio Large Language Models (LLMs) research & product company aiming to solve the Speech Turing Test and bring Emotional Intelligence to AI. Enriching AI with a social-emotional layer will bring it closer to what makes us fundamentally human: our emotions, relationships, and the way we interact with one another. Our North Star is the pursuit of the dream of Emotional General Intelligence - creating human-AI connections that feel natural, personal, and deeply engaging. WaveForms AI was founded by Alexis Conneau, a world leading Audio and Text LLM researchers and co-creator of OpenAI’s GPT4-o Advanced Voice Mode neural networks, along with Coralie Lemaitre, a distinguished leader in business and product strategy from Google, who brings exceptional leadership and strategic vision. We have raised $40M in seed funding from our great partners at a16z. We are hiring the world’s best AI engineers in our office in San Francisco, California. Join us if you want to build something #magical that will unlock new frontiers in how we experience AI: waveforms.ai/careers. Read our blog post at waveforms.ai/about for more details. Thank you to everyone who has supported us thus far, and we hope you'll follow along in our journey.

Congrats! For me conversational AI is vitally needed e.g. to push support or customer service calls to a new level of higher quality and lower waiting times. Especially due to lack of human resources. In countries with extremely high labour costs like Denmark, Luxembourg, Sweden and Germany it can initiate a large gain of excellence and availability in hotlines of all kind. I am happy to follow and support you in Germany if desired. You and your Team enjoy the Christmas season!

your team should talk with Dr. Tomi White Bryan, she's built out the next-gen emotional intelligence model (EI 3.0) and would add a ton of value to what you're aiming to create. WaveForms AI

Bravo et bonne chance!
