Mercedes F1 Monthly Review: November 2025

The year might be coming to a close, but it was a case of full steam ahead for our team in November.

With lots to play for on track at the end of 2025, and a new era on the horizon next year, there was lots going on.

Making a Difference

The month started off with a bang when we - in conjunction with Brackley Town Council - hosted our annual Firework display at nearby Magdalen College School Brackley .

Over 6,000 local residents attended the event, which also saw our Our Official Team Charity Partner Helen & Douglas House in attendance on the night with a stand - holding a raffle with hand-signed items donated by the team.

The ninth edition of the event showcased our commitment to provide our community with a memorable social occasion year after year, and give back to local causes.

Later in the month, we were delighted to attend a 'Meet the Motorsport Industry' day hosted by the Grand Prix Trust at Silverstone, providing guests the chance to hear from and question experts from the world of motor racing.

The team on the ground were able to interact with over 500 students aged between 15 and 25 from local schools, colleges and universities.

Trackside in São Paulo, George, Kimi and Valtteri teamed up with 10 school children from Escola Estadual Lasar Segall as part of the Formula 1 Community Experience Programme.

All three drivers then potted their own seeds before these were taken out to the paddock entrance at Interlagos - which is currently being re-landscaped - and planted by the children.

Champion!

There was cause for champagne and celebration in Vegas when our F1 ACADEMY racer Doriane sealed the title at the end of her second campaign in the series.

Doriane won the penultimate race of the season, and then kept her nearest rival Maya Weug in sight in race two to secure the crown by 15 points.

Check out the French racer's route to the title here.

With her biggest ambition to date acheived, Doriane penned a letter to her younger self, which you can read here.

Finishing Strong

The battle for P2 in the Constructors' standings has been a season-long fight between Red Bull and Ferrari.

After losing ground in Mexico at the end of October the team responded in Brazil with a 43-point haul - its best of the season.

This was helped by a double Sprint podium on Saturday in Interlagos, and a P2 for Kimi - his best result in F1 - on Sunday.

Two weeks later in Las Vegas, George's ninth podium of the season, his best return for a campaign, matched with Kimi second top three in as many races gave the team a healthy advantage with two rounds left.

A further Sprint podium for George in Qatar and a 18 more points in the Grand Prix left the team needing just 11 points from Abu Dhabi to secure P2.

This would mark the first time that Mercedes AMG High Performance Powertrains would have finished 1-2 in the Constructors' standings.

Mercedes Milestones

Gutsy drives. Epic pole laps. Dominant wins.

Las Vegas marked George's 150th Grand Prix in F1, having made his debut for Williams in Australia in 2019.

All 150 of those races have been powered by Mercedes-Benz AG , and to celebrate, we sat our five-time Grand Prix race winner down to re-live his best and most important moments in the sport with race engineer Marcus.

On Stage with Toto

There was plenty of interest in the Boss' appearance on stage at Web Summit 2025 in Lisbon, for a talk moderated by Newsweek Editor-in-Chief Jennifer H. Cunningham.

Toto was joined on stage by Don McGuire, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at team partner Qualcomm Snapdragon.

Web Summit is an annual technology that sees guest speakers from around the world come together to discuss internet technology, emerging technologies, marketing and venture capitalism.

Congratulations to Doriane! Have been watching her progress ever since her endurance racing days. Cant wait to she what she does next!

Why don't they give Doriane a test in an F2 or even an F1 Mercedes as a prize in a test or free practice session?
