In spite of this week's chilly weather, we had a great time celebrating the end of the year with 150+ members and guests at our Winter Social on Wednesday! Thanks to our lead event sponsor Shawmut Design and Construction and supporting event sponsor Bohler for helping make this event possible and for keeping everyone warm with their cozy swag! Thanks also to the teams at Snowport and Tuscan Brands for providing a delightful atmosphere and delicious food and beverages and to photographer Steve Lipofsky for the wonderful photos. And thanks to all who joined us for this fun event and to all of our incredible members who make ULI a special organization all year round.

The project turned a former state hospital site into 300,000+ square feet of commercial space, 350 mixed-income homes and rental units, and ample open space. On Wednesday we had a great time learning from Keir Evans about BXP, Inc.'s innovative Life Science Center project at our November Member Lunch. This project is a unique public private partnership between the City of Cambridge, Eversource and BXP to simultaneously deliver sustainable power infrastructure, housing, and new commercial space in one of the densest life science districts in the world, Kendall Square. Thanks to Keir Evans for the thoughtful and engaging presentation and to the 60+ members who joined us for this month's lunch.
