One weekly LinkedIn post did what $10K in ads couldn’t. In 2022, I was exhausted, burning through funds, and starting to wonder if going solo was a mistake. Then one shift changed everything—without spending another cent on ads. I wasn’t a celebrity CEO (heck, I didn't even have 20k followers then). I didn’t have a big team. I wasn't using hacks or extensions. I just finally understood what actually builds demand on LinkedIn. Here’s the shift: Instead of trying to post every day, I committed to writing one "power post" each week that did three things: 1. Named the invisible pain my audience feels but doesn’t say out loud. I thought the pain my clients felt was "not being clear on their message." But that isn't very moving, is it? Here was their real pain because of messaging issues: They looked at their bank account, saw it approaching zero, opened a job posting, and wondered if they should give up their entrepreneurial passion and return to corporate to secure a high paycheck (even though the idea of that was pretty much hell for them). Now THAT's a pain. I started writing content about THAT. 2. Shared a bold perspective that made them stop, think, and trust me. I would share very tactical templates that I knew would help them overnight. Things like LinkedIn headline templates and personal brand content pillar playbooks. I paired these with before/after stories of clients that used them and experienced very measurable results (like 6-figure international contracts) 3. Closed with a line that made them feel seen. (That’s what gets shared.) Something like "If you're debating hanging it all up and going back to corporate because you can't figure out marketing, you're not alone. But there are proven templates and strategies to help. Save this to come back to." (P.S. - Want to cement your brand in someone's mind? Ask them to SAVE the post vs. comment and like. You become a part of their reference library. It's the ultimate signal of value.  After I did these 3 things in a "power post," that’s when it started happening: → People began tagging others. → Clients came to me. → My email list started to grow (and not at a rate of $3 per lead on Facebook) Look, I’m not saying you should stop investing in marketing. But if your message isn't clear, then you're probably throwing your money (and your potential) away. Save this framework to come back to when you feel like you're shouting into the void on LinkedIn. 💾

Quality Content > Quantity of Content What’s more important: posting frequently or posting with purpose? Flooding your feed with low-value content does more harm than good. It weakens your brand and leaves your audience disengaged. Instead, take a step back and follow this 5-Step Process: STEP 1 - Post with intent. > Every post should serve a purpose. > Focus on adding value instead of filling space. Example: A post that answers a common client question builds trust. STEP 2 - Prioritize conversation over visibility. > Create posts that encourage interaction. > Ask questions or offer insights that spark discussion. Example: Instead of an update, pose a challenge your audience faces and offer solutions. STEP 3 - Focus on consistency, not frequency. > Don’t feel pressured to post daily. > Consistent, thoughtful content builds trust over time. Example: Weekly posts that go deep on a subject can generate higher engagement than daily surface-level content. STEP 4 - Analyze what works. > Check which posts get the most engagement. > Use that data to guide future content. Example: If a post about solving a client problem resonated, create a series based on that. STEP 5 - Engage meaningfully with responses. > Reply to comments with intention. > Build relationships through thoughtful replies. Example: Turn a comment thread into a real conversation. 1 powerful post can lead to deeper connections than 10 superficial ones. Even if it means posting less often, you’ll make a bigger impact. Remember, the goal isn’t to post more— It's to start real conversations.

#CustomerRetention in 2025 will be less about generic content and more about building ongoing, meaningful relationships. Social media is the ideal platform for creating these connections at scale. Here’s how: 1️⃣ Proactive Engagement: Use social listening tools to identify when customers mention your brand (directly or indirectly) and respond promptly, even if they don’t tag you. Being proactive shows customers you’re attentive and care about their experience. 2️⃣ Hyper-Personalization: Leverage tools, including AI, to deliver tailored responses, recommendations, or offers based on their behavior and preferences. Make customers feel like you are doing something specifically for them — because you are! 3️⃣ Community Building: Create exclusive social groups, forums, or live sessions where customers can connect with your brand and each other. 4️⃣ Think Conversation: Regularly seek customer feedback via polls, surveys, and open-ended questions on social media. Show them you’re listening by answering quickly, keeping the conversation going, and taking action on suggestions. 5️⃣ Consistent Recognition: Highlight loyal customers through shoutouts, features, or exclusive offers. When customers feel seen and appreciated, they are more likely to stay loyal to your brand. --- 👋 I'm Brooke. 💚 The Social Care lady. 💬 I chat about digital #CX. ➕ Click follow on my profile to see more posts like this. 🫶 Want to work together?
