John Lewis Christmas advert 2025: Labrinth covers Alison Limerick's Where Love Lives

It's now as much of a festive tradition as your nan falling asleep at 3pm on Christmas Day after a sherry or five, and this year's John Lewis Christmas advert does not disappoint.

The tearjerking campaign invites the nation to tell loved ones exactly how they feel through gifting. And the artist soundtracking it all? Labrinth, come in!

Following in the footsteps of the likes of Ellie Goulding, Lily Allen and Elton John, Labrinth is the voice behind this year's ad, with a cover of Alison Limerick's '90s dance hit Where Love Lives.

Originally released in 1990, Where Love Lives achieved its current Number 9 peak in summer 1996. Could it now be a contender for 2025's Official Christmas Number 1 single courtesy of Labrinth's take on the track?

His gentle version is just so beautiful; it’s sure to fill the heart with love."
