Police say a man entered a business Tuesday morning just off the Las Vegas Strip and announced that he had killed someone.

Police were called just before 5:10 a.m., according to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Steve Riback.

Officers went to a residence in the 2200 block of East Reno Avenue, near Spencer Street, and found a man suffering from gunshot wounds, a Metro release said Wednesday.

Metro arrest records released Wednesday identified the suspect as Edwin Rafael Lora, 36. He is scheduled to appear in Las Vegas Justice Court on Wednesday morning.

The identification of the victim, as well as the cause and manner of death, will be released by the Clark County coroner’s office.
