A driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash early Thursday morning after hitting a light pole in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, police said.

The crash occurred at about 4:25 a.m., when a gray Nissan sedan traveling north on North Durango Drive at Grand Teton Drive left the road and struck a light pole, according to Metropolitan Police Department Lt. Marcin Zemsta.
