MyChart requires two-factor authentication to protect your personal information.
Why Is Two-Factor Authentication Required?
This two-step security feature adds an extra layer of security to help keep your account safe — even if someone knows your password, they can’t log in without the code.
If you already use two-factor authentication in MyChart, no changes are needed.
How It Works
After you enter your password, you’ll get a one-time code by text or email. You’ll enter that code to finish signing in.
The code will be sent to the mobile phone or email you have on file in MyChart.
Alternatively, you may use a 3rd-party authenticator or Passkey, a digital login credential, such as a pin, fingerprint or facial recognition, that allows you to securely sign in to your account without a password or two-factor authentication.
