About us
Mathspace is on a mission to personalize mathematics instruction, learning and assessment. Our adaptive algorithm tailors mathematics learning pathways in real-time based on a student’s strengths and knowledge gaps. As a student develops mathematics skills on Mathspace, individual questions and topics adjust to the appropriate rigour. For students, Mathspace feels much like a personal tutor. Students get instructional support at each step of problem solving. Hints and video lessons are mapped to each independent practice question. Teachers can promote self-directed learning, or assign custom practice for their students. With national curricula from a number countries, teachers have access to up-to-date digital materials that adapt to each student’s unique needs.

🌟 What does immediate career impact look like? Empowering students to step outside their comfort zone and build confidence is key to success at Macquarie Business School. Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Applied Finance student Zach Rowshanak has already put this into practice — securing a role at Mathspace before even finishing his degree. Within eight months, Zach was representing the company at conferences, meeting clients, delivering demos, and embracing opportunities that once felt out of reach. As part of his studies, Zach completed #MQBS2010: Enhancing Employability Skills, a career-focused unit designed to help students identify their strengths, build professional confidence, and connect classroom learning to real-world impact. Reflecting on his learning experience, Zach shares: “Studying at Macquarie Business School has strengthened my understanding of business and leadership.
