Update your privacy settings or remove your commenting profile for Yahoo
If you'd like to keep your commenting activity private or remove your profile entirely, you can update or delete your commenting profile. Follow these steps to manage your privacy settings and protect your personal information.
Update your privacy settings
If you've commented on posts and want to hide your posting activity on your profile from other users, you can make your commenting profile private.
- Above the comment field, click the Settings icon.
- Click Privacy.
- Toggle the button for Private Profile to On.
Remove your commenting profile
If you want to remove your commenting profile permanently, you can delete it.
- Above the comment field, click the Settings icon.
- Click Privacy | select Delete your account.
This will not delete your Yahoo Account - Removing your commenting profile will deactivate your OpenWeb profile, delete all identifiable information collected by OpenWeb, and anonymize your past comments. Your Yahoo Account will remain active.
