Wafer Works 2025 H1 Engineering Seminar: Embracing AI While Strengthening Semiconductor Technologies   While AI rapidly shapes the future, our foundation remains firmly rooted in silicon wafers and third-generation semiconductor materials. This year Wafer Works' engineering seminar highlighted how AI influences R&D, driving innovation across substrate technologies and semiconductor processes.   For the first time, next-generation engineers led the presentations, with mid-to-senior managers evaluating projects closely aligned with production challenges. Twelve finalist teams demonstrated breakthroughs in substrate engineering and AI-enabled yield optimization.
