🌎 Time Out’s Coolest Street in the World 2025 is… Rua do Senado in Rio de Janeiro 🇧🇷 We’ve just dropped our fourth annual list of the World’s Coolest Streets – the places where city life is buzzing right now. Think food, culture, community vibes and the kind of energy that makes you want to stay out all day (and night). Taking the top spot this year is Rua do Senado in Rio. A historic strip of townhouses and traditional bars that’s having a seriously stylish revival. Samba sessions, indie shops, art collectives in old factories – the place is alive with creativity and local flavour. It’s also the first South American street to ever top this list. Here’s how the rankings came together: our editors and local experts around the world nominated the coolest street in their city right now. Then our global travel team scored them across food, drink, culture, nightlife and community – all the factors which Time Out believes make cities, and spots within them, great places to live in and explore. 🥇 Top 10 Coolest Streets in the World (2025) 1. Rua do Senado, Rio de Janeiro 2. Orange Street, Osaka 3. Rua do Bonjardim, Porto 4. Fanghua Street, Chengdu 5. Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal 6. Montague Road, Brisbane 7. Maybachufer, Berlin 8. Olympou Street, Thessaloniki 9. Orchard Street, New York City 10. Vinh Khanh Street, Ho Chi Minh City As Time Out’s Travel Editor Grace Beard puts it: these streets “tell the story of their cities” – they’re not generic hotspots, they’re packed with character, creativity and community. 🔗 The full list of Time Out’s 31 Coolest Streets in the World right now is here: https://lnkd.in/e2CJ5nwA
