District Attorney Steve Wolfson has said his office believes that the crash was “intentional.” Officials identified the two victims as Adilene Duran-Ricon and Edward Garcia. A third victim, Vanessa Lainez Vasquez, died later.

Gutierrez was dating Duran-Ricon, who was 11 weeks pregnant, at the time of the crash, according to police documents.

Gutierrez is due back in court on Tuesday, Dec. 9.
