We're witnessing a fundamental shift in software: from human-driven, AI-assisted applications to AI-driven, fully autonomous agents. These agents need to self-learn, self-replicate, and self-heal at scale. They require different computing paradigms, different deployment models, and different infrastructure than what exists today. We had a blast sponsoring the Nova GenAI Hackathon, hosted by the awesome ScottyLabs team at Carnegie Mellon University! It was inspiring to see 248 students take on a 7-hour coding challenge and build some truly creative projects. We were thrilled that 31 teams chose to compete in our "Best Use of Agentic AI" prize track. A huge shoutout to the seven teams who built with our platform! It was amazing to see them create everything from agentic CRMs to custom memory-management systems in just a few hours.
