In partnership with Metro Bureau, Barton Malow's K12 Education team recently hosted a workshop designed to empower district leaders by providing them with the knowledge and confidence to address their district's needs. More than 20 people attended the event, which included a presentation on the overall bond process as well as an exercise with a mock district to discuss real-life examples of factors that would impact the decision to pursue a bond.

The Roger Dean Chevrolet Stadium renovation in Jupiter, Florida, is gaining momentum! Steel is up, roof work is progressing, and interiors are coming to life across the complex. Together with our partners at Charles Perry Partners, Inc. and Williamson Design Associates, the team recently reached important structural and interior milestones. These include roofing and enclosure work on the third base grandstand and team store, as well as significant progress on fan amenities such as the grab-and-go concession conversion. This transformative project also includes new spring training player development facilities for the St. Louis Cardinals and the Miami Marlins and renovated clubhouses. With seating upgrades and finishing work underway, we’re building a venue that combines cutting-edge player facilities with enhanced fan amenities, setting the stage for the future of baseball in Jupiter.

Happy Thanksgiving! We are grateful for our team members and the opportunity to serve our people, projects, and communities for over a century. Today, we are excited to participate in the 99th America's Thanksgiving Parade in Detroit. Our float, “Building Today for a Better Tomorrow,” will once again make its way down Woodward Avenue this morning, passing many buildings we've had a role in constructing. Designed and built by The Parade Company artists, “Building Today for a Better Tomorrow” is over 100 feet long and the highest point is 28 feet. Tune in to WDIV Local 4 News/ClickOnDetroit or livestream the broadcast to watch the parade ➡️ https://brnw.ch/21wXSqy

Ford Motor Company recently celebrated the public grand opening of its new 2.1-million-SF World Headquarters in Dearborn, Michigan. Construction has been ongoing since late 2020, and the new headquarters will serve as a center for creativity and business activities under one roof. How much steel did it take to build the new Ford World Headquarters? If you add it all up, it's about 29,000 tons- or four Eiffel Towers worth. Steel erection included two "super trusses," which played a huge role in the structural and aesthetic of the property, allowing for an open 100-foot atrium without columns. These super trusses each weighed 175,000 lbs and, when placed side-by-side, matched the wingspan of a Boeing 747. It took three cranes—and a lot of planning—to erect and set each truss.

The Greenberg Indoor Sports Complex has been the ultimate training space for Penn State's athletes this fall, extending beyond the field. As the semester winds down, we’re celebrating the incredible versatility of this space — from a new athletics entry addition and second-floor dining and food service enhancements to hydrotherapy and recovery areas. This facility is fueling success across all 31 sports. Alexander and Barton Malow are proud to have partnered to make this vision a reality. All photos courtesy of Penn State Athletics.
