When we look at Google AI Overviews, our data shows where AI appears during the shopping journey and how it shapes the user experience—predicting the next question and guiding different user journeys in distinct ways. 🤖 The impact on shopping behaviors is clear: #Electronics shoppers use AI for price comparisons and local decision-making. #Grocery shoppers research products online before buying in-store. But here's what makes 2025 different: those remaining keywords have higher search volume than the ones removed. That's the opposite of last year. 📈 As Roger mentions “My opinion is that Google is likely responding to user trends, testing how they respond to AI Overviews, then using the data to show more if user reactions are positive.” 🤖 #AIOverviews aren't designed to replace the entire search journey.
