Be honest: How many of your sales reps maintain a "shadow spreadsheet" to double-check your commission math? 📉 If the answer is "most of them," you have a costly problem. When reps don’t trust their commission visibility, two things happen: 1️⃣ They waste valuable selling time playing accountant. 2️⃣ Your RevOps and Finance teams drown in "why did I get paid this amount?" support tickets at the end of every month. A superior payee experience isn't just a "nice to have" perk; it's an ROI engine. Our new AI-Powered Payee Experience empowers reps to self-serve answers to complex questions instantly. That means less time debating the numbers and more time hitting them. Stop the shadow accounting. Start motivating. Learn more here: https://lnkd.in/gGx5UTuT

When asked our RevOps leader Johnathan Warren for his take on Thanksgiving, we were hoping for some nice photos or maybe a recipe recommendation. Of course, that’s not what we got. Instead he sent back a strategically prioritized 2x2 matrix. According to the data: 🚀 The Quick Wins: Cranberry sauce (Easy prep, surprisingly high adoption) 🏗 The Strategic Bets: The turkey (High effort, but the whole "quarter" depends on it) 📉 Depreciating Assets: That one yam dish with marshmallows (High operational drag, low engagement) ⚖️ Maintenance Mode: Salad (Low effort, low excitement level) Proof that when you spend all year obsessing over efficiency, you start seeing everything as a data point, even the mashed potatoes. Where does your favorite dish land? Let us know in the comments if we miscategorized the stuffing. 👇

Sales reps shouldn't need a degree in forensic accounting to understand their own paychecks. 🕵️♂️ The gap between closing a deal and seeing the commission is where trust breaks down and where "shadow spreadsheets" are born. Today, we’re closing that gap for good. Introducing CaptivateIQ’s new AI-Powered Payee Experience. It’s more than just a dashboard refresh. We’ve embedded generative AI directly into the rep's view, allowing them to instantly interrogate their own data. Imagine your reps being able to ask: 💡 "Show me a breakdown of my Q3 accelerators." 💡 "Why is deal X excluded from this month's payout?" ...and getting an immediate, accurate answer without submitting a RevOps ticket. Trust is the ultimate motivator. Give your teams the transparency they deserve. In our latest Experts in ICM Q&A, Alexander Group's Rachel Parrinello and Isaac Hausman chatted with Lindsey Bly on how to move from fragmented planning to quotas, territories, capacity, and incentives finally working in concert. The secret? Data Nirvana. Or at least starting on the journey 🚗 . Here's how to get started: ✅ Reduce silos with clear governance and a shared North Star for planning decisions ✅ Build one trusted dataset with consistent definitions so every team is working from the same truth ✅ Start with the basics (de-dupe accounts, establish parent–child hierarchies) before layering enrichment and advanced models ✅ Tie plans to realistic opportunity views (not hope): validate with segmentation, capacity, and product-level signals Read the full conversation on The Multiplier https://lnkd.in/gHeiZVEg #SalesComp #SalesPlanning #IncentiveComp

Sales and incentives planning shouldn’t be a surprise party. 🎉😨 Katia Terentyeva, CPA, ACCA, Head of Global Sales Compensation Operations at @Elastic, warns that leaving comp and ops out until the end is a costly mistake: “When you wait to bring in sales and incentive compensation teams at the very end, it’s a recipe for disaster.” Katia Terentyeva, CPA, ACCA along with Johnathan Warren and Saurabh Mehreja, PMP, PMI-ACP reveal how early collaboration across finance, operations, and IT builds stability — not whiplash — in fast-moving organizations. 92% of sales reps say real-time visibility into earnings is a strong motivator. Yet only 52% of companies provide real-time performance tracking. Today, we're fixing that with our new AI-Powered Payee Experience. Meet your AI copilot. 👋Ask it anything: - "What is my quota?" → Instant clarity on targets - "How was I paid?" → See exact formulas and plan clauses - "What are my projected earnings?" → ML forecasts based on your data - "How do my accelerators work?" → Plain-English breakdown - "Can I check this from the gym?" → Everything lives on mobile Imagine your reps never questioning a payout again. Never building shadow spreadsheets. Never wasting Sundays on commission math. Just pure focus on what they do best: selling. That future is here → https://lnkd.in/gkNPmSNz

📈 Incentives are powering growth, but so many companies are missing the mark. Earlier this week, our co-CEO Mark Schopmeyer sat down with Beck Salgado at Revenue Brew to talk through the latest findings in our 2025 State of Incentive Compensation Management Report. For many, the data is a wake-up call ☎️ . 👉 59% of companies are leaning on incentive compensation to fuel growth, but the vast majority (66%) still can’t even get payouts right. The disconnect between strategy and execution explains why fewer than 30% of leaders feel “very prepared” for the economic volatility we continue to face. If incentives shape behavior, the review cadence and processes behind them matter more than ever. Read the full breakdown here: https://lnkd.in/gCd-WsFv
