IDEAS THAT TRANSFORM

About us

Dresdner Robin is an award-winning land-use consultancy with a specialty in urban design and development, plus brownfield redevelopment. At Dresdner Robin, we increase property values for our clients by helping them transform their sites to a higher level of functionality and use. A one-stop shop, we provide integrated engineering, planning (including zoning and entitlement), environmental, survey (including GIS and expert measurement) and landscape architecture design services in New York City, New Jersey and Philadelphia. We’ve also expanded our work in land-use services for both private and public sector clients, including city planning and environmental leadership. We treat clients as if they are family members, not project numbers. With the know-how to get the job done, we also emphasize real transformation and a lasting, positive impact on the environment and within cities and everyday lives. With core tenets including service, client satisfaction and technological innovation, we have built an environment that fosters strategic and professional growth. Based in Jersey City since 1985, we continue to make an extraordinary contribution to the rebirth of its urban landscape. We created and implemented N.J.’s first remedial action plan for the Newport redevelopment site, and our portfolio now includes the three-tower Journal Squared project, the 900-foot skyscraper at 99 Hudson, Porte Liberté, the Hudson Exchange and the 16-story mixed-use residential property at 533 Mercer Street, among others.

The Jersey City Council has approved the redevelopment agreement for the 6th Street Embankment. Much discussed for 25 years, this is a tremendous leap ahead in the creation of 6 blocks of accessible new amenities and green space for the public. We are proud to work with Albanese Organization, Inc. and MHS Architecture to advance this monumental project. • It's always so wonderful to hear about the professional development experiences our staff get to explore! Kara Carelli has been active with CREW NJ for some time now and we are thrilled she got to attend the national convention.

Although it’s been two weeks since I’ve returned home from the 2025 CREW Network National Convention in Austin, TX, it’s taken me this long to truly process all I saw, learned, and experienced at this amazing event. Whether it was hearing from women who have been attending the Convention for 20+ years or connecting with one of the 527 new attendees at this year’s event, it’s clear that this was a space for providing opportunity and empowerment to women across the country (and globe). Choosing between the extensive array of informative breakout sessions was a difficult daily decision for each attendee, but my personal learning highlights and favorite sessions included ~Data Centers and Infrastructure in Flux: Innovative and Sustainable Energy Solutions (highlighting the pressure to build resilient and energy-efficient infrastructure, exploring the influence of power supply, climate risk and sustainability on this market), ~Technological Innovation Spotlight (exploring how emerging technologies and tools such as AI, GIS, and blockchain are reshaping commercial real estate), and ~Global Economic Outlook (analyzing the state of the macroeconomy, capital markets and key trends shaping the future of commercial real estate). Inspirational and motivational guest speakers included country singer/songwriter Chely Wright, President and CEO of Marcus and Millichap Hessam Nadji, and former Prime Minister of New Zealand Jacinda Ardern.  Hearing the testimony, expertise, and insights from these leaders was inspirational, thought-provoking, and even a little emotional. In Jacinda Ardern’s words, “You don’t know what you’re capable of until you’re doing it.” The empowerment of the Convention experience really rings true with that sentiment. I had so much fun getting to know my CREW NJ colleagues more personally and made some new friends from across the country. I’m so thankful to have received the 2025 CREW-NJ Scholarship that allowed me to attend the convention, and I look forward to giving back when I serve as NJ’s Chapter Champion in 2026! Also a big thanks to Dresdner Robin for always supporting my professional development and allowing me to take full advantage of this opportunity.
