Once a helicopter door gunner in Vietnam veteran, Jim Graham faced cancer twice including lymphoma believed to be linked to Agent Orange. He and his wife, Susan, traveled from their home in Mexico to Southern California for his treatment at the VA in La Jolla. They stayed at the Camp Pendleton Fisher House, and when it was full, our Hotel for Heroes program ensured they had a comfortable place to stay. As Susan said, it was “a real lifesaver.” She also shared a message we hope others remember: Unused hotel points and airline miles could become essential support for families like theirs.
