💛💜There’s nothing like bringing the community together to help serve all those in need. Here’s to yet another successful Thanksgiving Giveback Turkey Giveaway presented by Councilmember Latresa Akins-Wells (Ward 4). 🦃 Residents, Public Works staff and dozens of volunteers rolled up their sleeves and were able to give out nearly 300 turkeys at this year’s event, as well as collard greens, hams, stuffing and canned goods. A HUGE thank you to this year’s sponsors: Kroger, Carroll Daniel and Fellowship of Faith Church International. Wishing everyone a happy and safe Thanksgiving holiday.
