We’re designing for safer, stronger communities! St. George, UT recently celebrated the grand opening of Fire Station No. 1 which has relocated to the city’s downtown to better serve future growth needs and enhance response times. Our services included design and engineering for the 23,600-square foot building, its four apparatus bays, a dedicated community training room, and improved living quarters. The station was designed with both firefighters and the community in mind, while also honoring the past with a display area for a collection of firehouse memorabilia. A New Home for Big Ideas and Bright Futures West Field High School is a new 350,000-square-foot campus to meet the educational needs of Weber County's growing population. The school features naturally lit classrooms, spacious commons areas, and flexible spaces that promote academic and social development. Its layout includes three structurally separated sections for safety, along with durable gymnasium and auditorium facilities for large events. Galloway partnered with Girl Scouts of Colorado for their STEM Family Fun Day! Events like this spark curiosity and inspire the next generation of innovators, and our Colorado Springs office was glad to be part of it. Nearly 300 Girl Scouts and their families explored hands-on STEM activities, including our augmented reality sandbox, where they learned about topography by shaping the sand to create mountains, valleys, and even simulate rain that formed rivers and lakes in real time.

We are excited to mark the completion of the Trans-Jordan Waste Transfer Station in Sandy, Utah. This outstanding project represents a significant investment in sustainable waste management infrastructure for the Sandy, West Jordan, Midvale, Murray, South Jordan, Draper, and Riverton communities. The 55,000+ SF facility includes a modern transfer building, administrative offices, equipment maintenance building, and scale house—designed to efficiently serve nearly 74% of the Trans-Jordan service area within a 10-15 minute drive. Projects like these demonstrate the vital role of public infrastructure in supporting growing communities.
