About us

We’re More Than Engineers. We’re Long-Term Partners. At Reaveley Engineers, we don't just design structures—we build relationships that last. Since 1972, clients have trusted us to bring their visions to life with thoughtful collaboration, technical excellence, and a genuine commitment to their success. We care deeply about the people we work with and the outcomes we help create. That’s why we prioritize clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a “no surprises” approach that keeps projects on track and aligned with your goals. • We are proud to have contributed to this transformative adaptive reuse project for the Jordan School District. What was once a vacant big-box store is now a vibrant, 41,000 SF hub that brings together early-childhood services, virtual-learning programs, the Jordan Education Foundation, and vital community support spaces.

𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗥𝗲𝘂𝘀𝗲: 𝗔 𝗕𝗶𝗴 𝗕𝗼𝘅 𝗦𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝗕𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗮 𝗟𝗲𝗮𝗿𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗛𝘂𝗯 Jordan School District has transformed a vacant big-box store into a dynamic, centralized hub housing four major programs: the Jordan Education Foundation, the Childhood Development Center, the Jordan Credit Center, and three virtual-school campuses. The 41,000-square-foot facility consolidates services that were previously dispersed, generating efficiencies and enhancing access for students, families, and district staff.  Flexible, purpose-built spaces include: a multipurpose room with expandable partitions and floor plug-ins; large classrooms; a science lab; dedicated testing facilities; office and workstations; a warehouse for donations and storage; and break rooms and employee support spaces. For the Childhood Development Center, the redesign supports early-intervention and preschool programming, with large classrooms, nursing stations, testing rooms, and a secure outdoor play area.  Meanwhile, the Foundation’s warehouse enables centralized storage and distribution, supporting community services and student volunteer efforts. Recognizing the original building’s limited natural light access, the renovation incorporated 16 skylights, a carefully engineered daylighting strategy that now defines the project’s interior ambiance. #visionMadeReal #MHTNarchitects #AdaptiveReuse #EducationDesign #EarlyLearningSpaces #CommunityImpactDesign #K12Architecture

The new Museum of Utah and Collection Facility redefines how Utah’s stories are preserved and shared. Featured in the latest issue of Reflexion, the article highlights the project’s innovative design and collaboration between Heber Slabbert, AIA (of ajc architects, the museum’s project architect) and Tim Glenn (Museum of Utah director). Together, they explore how design, storytelling, and technology converge to create a facility that both safeguards priceless collections and invites the public to engage with Utah’s diverse history. From advanced climate control systems to carefully curated gallery experiences, this project embodies design excellence and purpose. The 67,854-square-foot Museum of Utah and Collection Facility will occupy two and a half floors of the North Office Building in the Capitol Complex—redefining how Utah’s stories are preserved and shared. Over 900 artifacts will be on display in the permanent exhibition. Visitors will be treated to a wide range of cultural items that include everything from Deseret coins, television tubes, historic furniture and appliances, to the legendary Duesenberg racecar, the Mormon Meteor.
