This past week, our interns had the unique opportunity to visit two of our Honda facilities in North Carolina — Honda Aero and North Carolina Manufacturing. These site visits offered valuable insights into the diverse and innovative operations that help power Honda’s success, while also giving our interns a chance to connect across locations and deepen their understanding of Honda’s mission. On a personal note, last year I took a family trip to Wisconsin. During our visit, we picked up my father-in-law’s old Honda power washer that had sat idle for quite some time. We brought it back home, cleaned it up — and today, it runs like brand new! Seeing where it was originally built added a meaningful layer to the experience and reminded me of the enduring quality and craftsmanship that define Honda products. To wrap up the week, several of our interns participated in Honda Aircraft Company's Adopt-A-Highway cleanup. Despite the summer heat and an early start, they showed up with enthusiasm and a strong sense of community, helping keep our streets clean and beautiful. As we move into the second half of the internship program, I continue to be impressed by the dedication, curiosity, and passion our interns bring to every experience.
