  • Meet Monica Metzger, a Staff Software Engineer on our robotics team whose creativity and ambition extend far beyond her day job. When she’s not developing patient critical code, Monica is leading tech innovation for a nonprofit in Uganda, flying drones to capture cinematic landscapes, partner dancing to salsa and bachata, golfing with her parents, and caring for her seven rescue animals. Her work with nonprofit Rose Academies-Uganda brings education to rural villages, even earning her an invitation to speak at the United Nations about their work and mission. We’re inspired by Monica’s drive to make an impact in everything she does, at Imperative Care and beyond.

As we close out #WorldStrokeDay – we think of all the patients and their families who have been impacted by #stroke.  Gerardo is a healthy, active 26-year-old who never expected to face a stroke. While playing video games with his brother, Gerardo suddenly couldn’t speak. Quick recognition of the signs of stroke and swift action made all the difference. His physician, Dr. Nikhil Mehta, said, "When Gerardo presented, we used the Zoom Stroke System primarily because of its efficiency. Gerardo responded incredibly well to the treatment. He had one of the best outcomes we could hope for. We offered him a second chance at life.” Gerardo’s story reminds us that stroke can happen at any age, but efficient treatment can make all the difference. 🎥 Watch Gerardo's story here: https://lnkd.in/gRWY-yWZ Rx only. This #WorldStrokeDay, we hold stroke survivors and their powerful stories of loss, recovery, determination and grit close to our hearts. Marta is a wife, mother, and community leader whose commitment to those around her inspires us. After suffering a stroke last fall, Marta faced a moment that could have changed everything. But with swift action and life-saving treatment using the #ZoomStrokeSystem, she made a full recovery and was able to return to her family, her work, and her life purpose. • In honor of #WorldThrombosisDay, we’re sharing #VTE survivor Jessica Green's story, a powerful reminder that recognizing symptoms early and taking action can make all the difference. A 35-year-old exercise physiologist and former college track athlete, Jessica lived life in motion — until severe leg pain and swelling brought everything to a halt. She was diagnosed with a dangerous blood clot that could have reached her lungs at any moment. Thanks to the fast intervention of Dr. Bennet George and the Symphony Thrombectomy System, Jessica received life-saving treatment and made a full recovery — just in time to attend Coachella a few months later. 🎥 Watch her story here: https://lnkd.in/gKZhZWKM #WTDay2025 #WorldThrombosisDay #BloodClotAwareness
