Our chairman and his family have stepped up when our community needs it most. Please consider joining in the effort to fill the gap left by the loss of $1 billion in federal funding to nonprofits feeding our neighbors. No matter where you are, there's sure to be a food bank nearby. Feeding America is a good place to start. It may not be much, but my $25 donation to Livingston Food Resource Center means 10 students can have healthy meals for a weekend. Plus, my employer offers a 2:1 matching gift program, making my donation mean more. Everyone deserves the dignity of a life without hunger.

Across the nation, food banks are experiencing unprecedented demand. Recent studies have documented that even before reductions in federal resources, food banks have seen a sharp increase in families seeking help, with children and seniors among the most affected. Today, we're responding with $2.7 million in grants to five incredible organizations doing critical work in Georgia and Montana: - Atlanta Community Food Bank: $1M to maintain high levels of food distribution across 29 counties - Feeding Georgia: $1M to enable the purchase of food from Georgia growers and support their Farm to Food Bank program - Montana Food Bank Network: $250k to expand capacity across all 56 counties in Montana - Hopa Mountain: $250k for small grants to rural and tribal food pantries - Livingston Food Resource Center: $200k for programs serving Park County, Montana residents We invite our fellow philanthropic and civic leaders to join us in rising to this challenge with urgency and generosity. While these decisions are being made at the national level, the consequences are showing up right here—on our shelves, in our budget, and in the lives of our neighbors. At the Livingston Food Resource Center, we’re seeing it every day: clients navigating new barriers to programs like SNAP, rising food costs, and shrinking federal supply chains. These challenges don’t just affect how we operate—they impact what we can offer, who we can serve, and how long we can sustain it. Read the whole article: https://lnkd.in/gmdPNRPZ
