Rima Chakrabarti, MD, is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of RBL LLC and currently serves as CEO of RBL’s first portfolio company, Sentinel BioTherapeutics. Before co-founding RBL, Rima was a Partner at KdT Ventures, where she invested in companies at the intersection of human and climate health. She trained as a physician-scientist at UT Southwestern Medical Center, where her research on lipid metabolism and cholesterol homeostasis was supported by the Howard Hughes Medical Institute. Hosted by Rice University with support from RBL LLC, the summit brought together national leaders across academia, policy, and industry to explore the future of implantable “living pharmacy” technologies — devices that could one day produce and adjust therapies inside the body itself.
