SPS recently transferred traffic from the existing temporary bridge to the new Belden-Bly Bridge and began operation of the new bridge. The temporary bridge is being decommissioned, and demolition will begin in the coming weeks, from both land and water. The crews will continue working throughout the winter on drainage and utilities, both north and south of the 107 roadway and Ballard St. Video by Savanna Media #sps #heavycivil #buildingbridges #spsteam

An SPS Maintenance crew has been hard at work completing Techcrete Joint repairs in the tunnel system in Boston. The crew saw-cut the roadway and installed the primer and two pours of Techcrete on the W-SS Ramp and S-N Ramp in Boston. SPS doesn't just build bridges and roadways; we preserve them. Our Structures Maintenance division helps make that possible. #SPSMaintenanceNeverSleeps #spsteam #heavycivil #buildingbridges

Seabrook-Hampton, NH Bridge Replacement Update: Since completing the deep foundation work in September, the project team has been busy installing and lowering precast concrete formwork for the pier foundations. This method allows for the pier footings to be completed without a traditional cofferdam of driven sheet pile. The precast work will continue and allow for the construction of the remaining substructure pier footings, columns, and caps. The team recently erected its first pier cap formwork and is targeting a concrete placement next week. Video by Savanna Media #SPS #spsne #heavycivil #buildingbridges #constructionindustry

Bridge preservation includes everything from substructure repairs to deck repairs. Recently, the SPS Maintenance division had a crew sealing pavement cracks with a hot applied crack sealer at Route 20 in Sturbridge for MassDOT. Sealing pavement cracks prolongs the longevity of the bridge deck. #SPSMaintenanceNeverSleeps #StructuresMaitenance #SPSTeam #SPSNE #heavycivil #bridgepreservation #northeastbridgepreservation
